Why I Chose to Serve Cocoa Beach

Why I Chose to Serve Cocoa Beach

In 2009, my wife Courtney and I made the decision to move to Cocoa Beach, a place we knew would be our forever home. Initially, I didn’t envision myself running for public office. But as we talked about our future and the future of our city, it became clear that now was the time to get involved, to help make important decisions for the benefit of not only our family but for generations to come.

That’s why, in 2012, I ran for City Commission. It has been an honor and privilege to serve our community for the last eight years. Since being elected, I’ve taken on various roles, such as president of Main Street, chair of the Leisure Board, and participating in multiple committees, including the City Hall design committee.

For me, being part of this community isn’t just about living here; it’s about actively shaping its future. I take my responsibility seriously and aim to represent the interests of everyone who calls Cocoa Beach home.

I truly love Cocoa Beach and will continue working hard to keep it the vibrant, beautiful place we all cherish.
